Please Pardon My Absence

I would like to extend my most sincere apologies to you my readers adn fans for the lack of updates this week.

Sunday, around noon, my phone service cut out. If you’ve been following this site, you’ll know that this has become a distressingly common occurance that usually lasts a day at most and always has the same root cause that Verizon never fixes completely.

Sunday, I contacted Verizon via cell phone and gave them a piece of my mind. The phone operator was very courteous, but the company itself tried to blame their striking workers for a problem that’s persisted for over a year prior to the strike.

In any event, I was promised this would be fixed for good this time, but the phone didn’t come back until Tuesday night and even then, my dial-up internet service was so slow it completely failed to allow me to post the LI chapter for all of today.

Friday, I’m going to the library, adn while there, I will be presetting all the updates for next week just in case. And for your troubles, I will also post the first chapter of a new project I’m working on Wednesday AND another actual article this Friday and the next.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience. I am about a quarter of my way toward my goal on patreon where I get satelite internet, so this will hopefully be the last April we go with this crap.
